The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

You have one aim in this game - to STAY ALIVE!

Sadly the Crimson Tide Consortium are, for no apparent reason, out to get you.

Unashamedly retro in every aspect, if you want amazing visuals then look elsewhere, but if you want a simple, challenging game that's randomised every time you play it, you might just find this to be your cup of tea.

Features:

- Steam achievements
- 3 Global Leaderboards
- Works with Linux using Proton in Steam
- Play individual levels or "Challenge Mode", where you try to defeat all 20 levels in order
- In Challenge Mode, every 5th level is a Boss
- Highly customisable for all skill levels
- Right or left-handed keyboard controls

AGS Panel Review

"Quite addictive gameplay in a otherwise very spartan game."

3 people commented on this game (newest first):

I'm not sure why my earlier comment disappeared, or if I shot a blank. Anyway, this game is a lot more fun than it looks, and it may extend your coffee breaks due to the "one more go, dammit" type of gameplay.

MAJOR update to the game just released. The main change is that addition of Boss Levels (every 5th level in Challenge Mode) and giving you 5 lives for Challenge Mode instead of just one (but the more lives remaining when you complete the last level, the higher your bonus score).
