The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

Professors are disappearing out of thin air from West College. How long has this been happening? Where are the Professors going? Why do they not admit facts that others plainly see?

You explore West College to solve the mysterious professor disappearances. You must pay close attention to widely scattered clues. Along the way, you pick up scientific knowledge that uncovers many pieces of the mystery. Time and patience are needed to work through multiple challenging puzzles. Unraveling the evidence could be more important to the future of our Earth than you ever imagined.

Tedium ad nauseum. The puzzles were not hard, but extensivr to the point of ennui. The game is (IMHO) unplayable without a hint/walkthrough, and I think the designer needs to remember that we play these games for pleasure. This is the only AGS game that I wanted to quit, I hope there is no sequel!

This game for me is sort of an unpolished masterpiece! It has been a long while since I have played a game quite so challenging, where even when I turn the game off and go out for the day, I will be sitting at lunch thinking ideas of how to progress further (when I should be socialising hehe). The game is also pretty non-linear, so if you get stuck with one thing, you can go off somewhere else, and find clues/ideas for other puzzles.

As I say it is a little unpolished, keep an eye on any light bulbs and test tubes you might have. I think maybe as you can hold more than one at a time, something happens where they can disappear.

But by all means, do not let this hold you back from playing this game, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
