The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

One of the best AGS game. The puzzles are not classical, very different from the usual AGS games.
The (sometimes) unresponsive interface is probably because the monkey does not really understand the human world.

*** SPOILERS
-- The furred duck puzzle is awesome! I just wanted to use this item more visually.
-- The idea of drugging a small kid may annoy some parents, and make this game illegal.

Well, I can't say I had fun playing this game. Graphics are not very attractive, no music, no sound, confused puzzles... Sorry.

The graphics are nice, but the interface is highly unresponsive. You don't get any reaction for nearly everything you do. As a result the game turns into "click every item on every hotspot", which effectively ruins it.

Yeah! Another game by Rani Hasan (AKA AGS-GD) where he treats us to cheery comments about torture!

The graphics are really good and the walk cycle for the main character is amazing. The custom verb coin has been very improved over his previous game. However, in a good "A Tale of Betrayal" tradition, the puzzles are somewhat unforgiving and at a couple instance there is apparently nothing else to do while the game sits back and gives you little to no feedback on how to continue.

All in all, I wasn't expecting more immature, pointless references to torture. For that reason, I don't think I'll be spending more time with Hasan's games in the future.
