This "demo" should be re-classsified as "alpha test". It is buggy and has dead-ends, but having said that, it shows a lot of potential. I am intrigued by the storyline, but frustrated by the dead-ends. By way of explanation, some acts need to be performed in precisely the correct order for the game to proceed. It is (at the moment) very linear!
The artwork and animation are cool, as is the soundtrack, voice acting is fairly good, but the coding is woeful - and I suspect global variables and global functions are to blame, perhaps under used. A very ambitious attempt released far too early in my opinion. For the devs; Please don't give up on this! Seek help in the forums, particularly in coding, or even recruitment. I can see (as a player) what you are trying to achieve, but you are not getting anywhere. Assume that dumb-ass players like me are not going to follow a designer's planned walkthrough, but will fly off at random because that which is obvious to you designers may not be obvious to the players. That's why I love beta-testing, because if there's a bug I will find it!
Congrats on your progress, good luck with the rest of the project!
