A sequel to the Laura Bow series from Sierra.
This is my first AGS game. It's really short, but I did put a lot of work into the interface to try to emulate the notebook from The Dagger of Amon Ra. I also tried out using an overhead view, which is something I hadn't seen before in an AGS game.

Ok fun for five minutes. The game is available here: https://archive.org/details/laura-bow-in-the-road-to-murder
I've tried the link that was given and with the torrent it's stuck at 87.2%, the .zip file only has 1 file in it and when I try to launch it, it says something about the graphics not being able to be set at 320x200.
Game cannot be downloaded.
Since I have played the original Laura Bow games this did effect my enjoyment of it but I think I would probably still be disappointed. I'm sorry but I just couldn't get over the choices that were made here and wish this had gone in a completely different direction or at least not an "overhead" view. I'm used to playing first person or other style games. Not something like this. ( however isometric games like fallout 1 and 2 are popular and I've sometimes played such a unique design choice for games...I've got ) I applaud you for wanting to have a different kind of game for people to play and I'm sorry for not being able to enjoy your work. I do intend on playing it someday soon , regardless. It's been years since I've played lots of games and this is one I only played once before.
Well thought out and fun game.
