I think you should try to make a feedback when you do the actions: for example, when you obtain an object, make the character tell something or play a sound or something like these.
I played the game. Simple, but nice. Go on!
As a first game not bad... No crashes and well presented story. The main character could grow up a bit. More feedback on actions would be nice. Maybe the recipe as an inventory item instead of the ? button and the debug mode is still on. Other than that... good luck with the next project.
um..ok...As a first attempt it was pretty ok I mean, no weird bugs appeared. The graphics were clean and not attrocious. The puzzle, there was no puzzle however, the instructions should have been available in the inventory. I kept waiting for the cupboard to open, it never did. :) also, the hotspots are a little specific, I was having trouble interacting with them. For a first ever game, it was ...respectable. I would like to see a character larger than the furniture and more puzzles and a bit of the usual animation or at least a display when you get your item. Placing everything on the placemat or whatever, was pretty realistic, original and creative. Good luck!
It's definitely an experiment about a guy who needs ti make a milkshake in one room. Not for those obsessed with mystery or complicated puzzles. :)
