[Early call out] Cartoony Sam 'n' max style adventure game

Hey AGS.

I'm new to the forums, but not to adventure games.
Probably like most people here I grew up on adventure games. Lucasarts games like 'monkey island' 'Sam 'n' max' and 'Day of the Tentacle' being a few of my all time favourites.

I'm an animator, who has been working on my own series for some time.
The series is called 'HELL'S HOST' and so far i've made three low budget episodes.

I've been thinking about creating an adventure game episode of the series for a long time. I've worked on a rough plot, and have a basic idea for the adventure. Just putting the feelers out to see who might be interested in being involved. I would be looking for programers, voice actors, musicians, writers and hell, anyone else who was interested. It's not something that i'll be working on too soon, but will hopefully get the ball rolling in 2016.

HELLS HOST is the story of grumpy and unlovable 'Harry GRAHAM Buckwit', A grumpy suburban Australian man who's paranoid world view causes him to retreat from the world:


But after an unfortunate accident involving a fishbowl, his paranoid world view is confirmed, when lightning strikes his house, electricity causes the fishbowl which has fallen on his head to give him the ability to see beyond the known spectrum of light, and see invisible monsters who are trying to terrorise him.   (READ THE COMIC INTRODUCTION HERE)

Every episode Harry encounters some new evil characters who make his life a living hell. In Episode 1 'German Invasion' Harry had his 'train of thought' hijacked by two parasites TEQUILLA THE TICK and FLUKE THE FLUKEWORM. In Episode 2 'A day at the beach' his serenity as interupted by two annoying preachers 'POSSUM. J. PRIESTLY' and 'THE GREAT WHITE SHEIK'. In Episode 3 'Some like it REALLY hot' Harry had a run in with a pyromaniac Teddy bear named GLORIA and a bent transit officer named BOSLEY RABBIT.

The Episode I am thinking about making an adventure game is called 'HANG THE UMPYRE'


It is about a character called 'The Umpire' who has come back to life. This crappy flash based test was a model I created with another guy a while back, (But is nothing like the storyline I have in mind for this story:

I'm hoping to put some money into it, so will definitely spend some money for artists, voice actors etcetera. But for the time being I am talking about low-no budget.

Anyway, great to finally become a member. I've been a big fan of watching game bakes etcetera on youtube. 'Ben Chandler: Paranormal investigator' is probably my favourite game to come out of this site, but their are so many great games from talented people. Much respect.
