AGS Games in Production / Re: Puzzle Bots
Wed 18/11/2009 11:27:20
In a strange way it reminds me of Battle Bugs which was made by Epyx and released by Sierra.
I'm sure this game will be a little less stress inducing. Some of the levels in Battle Bugs made me want to pull my hair out.
It's still a very fun strategy game though.
I will definitely be checking this one out come the release date.

The Game story outline in the opening post reminds me of Commander Keen: Marooned on Mars or Pikmin.
I looks like a fun game, I'm not sure how it will play but it would be cool if it had optional arcade areas like hover chase scenes.

I love the style of this game right down to the text everything has a unique feel about it.
I always love hand drawn sprites too, they remind me of Ben Jordan.

It's looking good JP.  ;)

The style reminds me of being in a dream state. In that state of mind both cartoons and real life can coexist together without it feeling strange and that is the same vibe I get from this game.
Also just wondering what tool specifically did you use to blur the images?

I'm already a fan. I have a weird thing for old 3d games. One of my favorites was Descent.
And please do get someone to translate your game into English. You can write it well enough to get by but if you want your game to be well liked you need a writer.
Even I have to use spell check every once in a while. My Grammar is OK but not up to par yet.

I mad scientist RPG Adventure Game hmmm...

I'd be willing to pay as long as you put some quality control in and iron out any bugs before launch.

How interesting Legos in an adventure. I've done this sort of thing with real toys before but didn't think of using AGS. I was thinking of doing a sort of FMV adventure using the unique toys I've built in the past.

CG or CGI is short for Computer Generated Image which could be any image programmed or draw entirely on the computer.
It is most often referring to 3d polygonal Images.
that's a nice game, It could be very interesting.

I visited your blog and found out you're quite talented and charming as well.

I was about to say the same thing but I know that Poser is a tool and like any other tool was meant to help.
Who knows maybe later you'll learn how to make your own skins and models. I have Poser too and I really want to learn how to draw skins.
This game story looks quite good so even though I'm not so keen on the visuals, I'm willing to give it a shot.

It sounds awesome, The stealth system reminds me of game called Thief Deadly Shadows.
And yes I'm an RPG fan too. My favorite genres are Plat formers, Adventures, Action, and RPGs. But I'll play any type of game that's good. The only genre I hate is sports and I'll still play some of them like Mutant league football.

The cuteness is infectious! I can't wait for the finished game.

I love the scenes you've shown and I'm
wondering what the punch line is. LOL
So a man walks into a bar and hurts his head.

This looks cool, and the description reminds me of the movie 1408.

This game look frick'n awesome. I love the whole Monkey Island vibe, hopefully it's as good as the graphics.
Will it have a voice pack?

Well whatever the case I love your work it seems perfect for the project and I'll look forward to seeing more from you in the future. Good luck.

To above: Yeah, it's a Dos based Platform game.

This game is shaping up nicely I'll probably play it when you release it.

You don't have to add it if don't want to, but if you leave it out make sure to closely indicate what emotion the character has at any given moment in the text.
