Just remember, many European countries don't have the "fair use" concept: its mainly an American thing.

Cool air invoice for a channel owned by Disney:

An ABC Air Conditioning Account?

A ABC A/C Acc.

I notice that someone needs to take over the Pick of the Month, too. Hasn't been updated since July.

Well, I think that this film company with a tendency to focus on CGI animation and over cutesy characters (such as that ridiculous Duck) will ... benefit from joining Disney ;)

On the other hand; George damaged Star Wars' reputation with the prequels.  They weren't what they should have been.  He should have let Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats - a life-long-die-hard Star Wars fan) help with dialog,

Yep, instead of someone who hadn't written a decent film since 1989, they should have used someone who hasn't written a decent film since 1999!

Embedding binary data into an exe file is essentially a trojan and anti viruses often react to that in the way you would expect.

What other kind of data than binary do you have in YOUR exes? ;)

It may be a secondary effect, such as the bad weather makes you behave differently (e.g. drink less water) and thus its actually dehydration that is the cause.

For names, consider how awesome an anagram can be made, e.g. Adrian Gilbert is an anagram of "Radiant Gerbil"... ;)

It would be good if nominations for the AGS Awards were also listed, as well as winners.
It would also be good to get a matrix of winners (or nominees) versus years, etc.
I have a spreadsheet with a lot of the info in, which could be used to enter the info.

Also would be good for games to be able to link to their pages on known sites, such as mobygames, adventuregamers, ACG, etc.

The next game will be The Blackwell Conception...

How hard would it be to make an AGS compiler/utility that could be triggered by a PHP script or somesuch on a web server to make a unique version of the game encrypted with a unique key, which needed to be set up at install time. It wouldn't stop people from copying, but at least you'd know whose copy the copying came from.

This might be especially useful for betas, as I know that Dave G's had beta versions leaked on occasion and one would probably want to ban the culprit from beta testing again...

Compile time? Is that do-able with the plugin system?

Presumably there is a standard XML parser somewhere you can reuse and adapt?

Another reason not to do this is Indiegogo's terms which you must have signed up to if you have an account:

Can't you just blow up all the sprites and BG by 10x, draw at appropriate place and then scale it all down again?
