I'm on the team with RyeGuy here for senior P. I felt it was worth mentioning that when we were in direct9 mode we could not see our video when we ran the compiled exe. We switched to D. Draw and everything was coo. Not to versed in the ways of video cards so anyone know why that may happen? We got our movie playing and honestly direct9 isn't really important for our game but I feel this may be an issue for some. Maybe just us lol. All 3 of our laptops had the issue.  And Mine is a suped up XPS.

Or if you're looking for another way to quickly tint the screen red, you could use TintScreen(red, green, blue);

No see we wanted to use our own graphics to tint or alter the room. Its like the players life bar. You've seen it in a million games but it is needed for the way our story works. We dont want to tell the player what is happening. We want him to figure out through visual cues. It's a senior project game for devry lol. But I appreciate everyones help. I'm sure I will have a few more advanced questions later on. We plan to set up in the Games in Development thread when I have some time. We have a lot done but we stil have a lot to go.

Hey guys I have been looking through the modules page. All 12 and couldn't locate directions on how to install them. Anyone care to lend a hand to a noob? If anything just tell me where I can read about it lol.

And to not waste an entire post on what is probably an easy solution I will ad another question. Is there a module for overlaying? Like I have a background in a room. And I want the players life meter (well call it for now) to change in the form of changing a rooms appearance. I'll post a pic of exactly what I mean (if we can post pics here.) So you have a room and the player gets a lil closer to death so the room gets more red and smoky. And this effect just incresses. But I want it to be over everything because if I do it with the background it doesn't effect my objects. SO I have a darkened floor and wall but the lamp and couch for instance stay the same in the light. An overlay similar to the way adobe does it would be great. Like with blending and light modes? Tranparencies and such? Anything that does all that?

Thanks. If anything the first question is the biggest one I have but the second is cool. I can read, so point it out if you know it exists :)
