I cry at the end of that movie every time. Much much crying.

I didn't mention earlier, I'm a Captain Harlock fangirl, and Galaxy Express 999 made me squee. Pirates and rebels in giant space frigates, IN SPACE! And big trains IN SPACE!

And then there's the delightful little anime accompanying the songs from Daft Punk. (Interstella 5555?)

I really Liked Welcome to the NHK. Slice of life, but their lives are a bit crazy in the head.

Downloaded the client again. Thought I'd pop in say hi. Now, I don't promise I'll make anything, but dang it, AGS has never left my head and sometimes I get ideas. And well.. I still have to learn to use it.. and retrain my art skills... Um.. yeah. Hi.

Hah! Like there's such a thing as a Mexican Jew! As for the wet nurse, let us assume it was raining outside.  :=

Just stopped in for a quick hello and a tasteless 'joke'.

This year I resolve to use the toilet instead of the lawn and to wear underpants under my trousers.

I have you all beat.

Cassy, one of my sisters if you haven't met her in irc, bought me a butane torch to use in the kitchen. I can torch things. In the kitchen. With fire. Fire, in my hand, while in the kitchen, with Japanese beetles waiting to be roasted. Sweetness.

Mother found a positively spiffy journal with lined pages for angst words and blank pages for angsty drawings, with a Tim Burton design and- get this- lights on the cover that light up when you push a button. Damned sweet.

Dad gave me.... more fire! One of those torch lighter things. There aren't enough flammable objects in the house. Dad even wrapped it himself, which was very adorable.

I accidently broke the candle holder I bought for Cassy, so I gave her tree fiddy. She seemed pleased. Angie (my other sister, if you haven't had the joy of meeting her yet)  got a book full of naked people. She seemed amused. And thus ends the christmas that revolves around my ego-centric self.

I think I once saw somewhere on the Internet that in that American NES-Release censored many things. The nude-statue in the hall behind the blue security door had disappeared.

You know, I'd  been wondering why Nintendo Power showed an image of a statue there when they gave two walkthroughs for that game. I kept wondering if it came through the mail, or was something I had to unlock, or the NP staff just had a better version than me, or I was in a different hallway. I had searched all over the house for that statue! :P

Frankly, I don't know what I'd do in that mansion. Probably bake some bread and search the fridge for Kraft Singles. And have arse sex with the hamster.

What do you think of the Holy Bible?

Nothing is any good if everyone else likes it.

creeping back to page the first,
haiku has returned

Not used ags

wasting time in irc

Gabbing 'bout tv

Why return to here?
forums are lacking substance
I don't play the games

Contemplating 'bye'
Just like in past times, perhaps
but, what keeps me here?

Nice group of guys (girls)
Dedicated man Chris Jones

Andail is 24. He is a man. He is not here now. His memory will be placed in the cobwebby corners of other AGSers who've succumbed to real life. Tell NenoMonkey 'Hi'.

Please allow me to take the long way around.

I remember, we didn't ahve a vcr when I was little, we had one of those things that played those frigging huge disks that you flipped half-way through viewing. When we did get a vcr, my parents dubbed every movie we had on disk onto tape, and any new movies we had were dubbed from tapes my parents rented.

Trying to think what our oldest purchased vhs was... I'd say Spacehunter or the Smothers Brothers yo-yo instruction tape.

For some odd reason, I'm held captive in Non-Descript, Typical Desert Hell-Hole of CNN Media Funtown. I'm bound, blindfolded, and before the camera, which is of course the usual setup of such situations.

I'm told to say something, my blindfold is removed. I stare straight at the camera, and in a defiant voice I say:

"Play Ace Quest."

I started laughing and woke up, still laughing.  I think it's a damn good bit of advertising, and I'm curious as to how Ol' Mulesy pulled it off.

I think Bush said it best:
QuoteWe've turned a corner.

Perhaps our failure as a people to throw ourselves upon the ground and throw dirt over our backs in anguish simply means we've  realised that "hope is on the way".

But please, let us not forget september 20.

There are many inspiring photos in the photo thread. I was inspired.

Loosly based on a couple extremely... emotional... pictures of n3tgruff and petteri. Mere doodles, but I think they capture the essence of the subjects quite accurately.
