Does anyone know any EyeToy like sofware for webcam. I know there is such software because my friend used to have it, but the company that produced it  (think it was called realityfusion) went away

As I said, that's his only stroke of luck, because he can't sing anymore, he can only do what he now does. If he'd cared for his voice, he'd still be able to get that sound in a HEALTHY way, and still be able to actually sing (One Of Us Cannot Be Wrong, Suzanne, Who By Fire and So long Marianne are some of my favourites, and I think it's a terrible loss that the guy who sang those can't do it anymore).

What's weird about me is that, I know EXACTLY how dangerous it is to smoke... and still I do it. I'm aware of the consequenses and frankly, I don't give a poop. I can sing very high, and I can go slowmotion low. but I'd still like to have a deeper voice. is there any surgery for that?

I'm afraid not. I am lucky that I have a deep voice (not like Waits, more like Cohen).

And about Cohen: Yes, he sure lost his pleasant voice, but his later albums are way better then older ones (with exception of Dear Heather), and his voice sonds much better.

I am afraid that there is no easy solution to your problem. I guess every AGS beginer had the same (or similar) problem. The best way is to convert your image in Photoshop in indexed color and use as little colors as you can. Then be sure that all outside area is in same color, and that there is no same color on your sprite. I know it takes a lot of time, but there is no faster way :-(

My dream is to sound like Tom Waits and this isn't helping!

Is there any good free bass tuner software available? I googled this few times, got lots of promising software pieces, but no one of them was actualy good! Some of them didn't capture sound correctly, some of them had bugs...
Any pointers?

Tetris and Pacman are VERY different games. Making pacman would not be too hard, while making Tetris would be a real nightmare (that's probably why no one has ever tried doing this).
And no, using Game maker would not help very much in creating Tetris, you would still have to know much about programing (multidimensional arrays for example) to make a game like it, even in Game maker.
And for Pacman, you could give it a try in AGS, all the things needed for it have allready been made (keyboard movement, object collision, light AI...)

It looks like your problem is not AGS related, it's problem with your sound card driver. The best thing would be reinstalling it.
