Sounds like a bug indeed.

In the meantime, you could try and replace (overwrite) the italian translation file with the english and see if that helps?
Or try to launch the game without a italian.tra ?

Launching with the Italian translation files moved out of the way and the translation left at Game Default or set to English, the game either crashes (because the translation file is not found) or hangs on a black screen. The same happens even if I switch to French. It looks like it's really insistent on loading that Italian translation.

Well, I'm stuck right at the beginning...

The game language is stuck on Italian, and no matter what I do (select English or Game Default from winsetup.exe (selecting "En" crashes the game), delete the autosave file, uninstall and reinstall), it won't change to English. I could play it in Italian, but I'd prefer to use English. How can I fix this?

I have the items found in the hut but cannot see anything in the cellar. It looks like I need to make a candle, but how do I soften/melt the wax? I don't see anything hot in the game that I could use - there was a radiator in the the reception, but that location is no longer accessible. The game won't let me use the obvious solution of the stove in the kitchen, and Judy and Patricia are no help either.

I just finished playing through the game and it really has an intriguing story that I really liked very much, I hope there will be some sort of sequel one day!

The graphics and animations are very well done and accurate as well as the plot story. All of this motivate me to move forward in the game and go on countless well designed riddles. Congratulations on the amazing work!

At the first attempt I was able to destroy the computer and to stop the virus properly. So I assume I managed to see the good ending by now but I missed 3 Easter egg somewhere. It's a good reason to play it again and find them all!

Thanks, Vincent. You have found several bugs that neither I nor my beta-testers did! I hope they haven't spoiled your enjoyment. Good job you had saved the game.

I will add these to the list of things to fix for the next version.

WARNING: I've been informed that there is a crash at the end of the game if you don't complete it successfully. (The crash is only present in the latest version: if you downloaded the game before yesterday, it should be fine.) I have a fix which I will be releasing in a couple of days after further testing, but in the meantime, save your game often, especially in the final scene (in the villain's house). Apologies for the inconvenience.

The bugs in v1.1 have now been fixed and there is a new version available for download (v1.1.2). Apologies again to anyone who has experienced problems.

SarahLiz: I don't intend to release a walkthrough, but as Shadow1000 says, try the Hints and Tips forum.
