Game location with some kind of warning sign (literally or not),
which should tell our hero about terrible/fantastic things that
lie beyond this point. Place between Normal World and the Adventure,
foretelling shadow of the things to come.

Scarecrow in the cornfield of an abandoned farm. Shrunken heads in
the jungle, marking territory of the headhunting tribe.
Weird, stickscupltures found in the middle of the woods.
Crimson King sigil painted on the street.

You decide if the sign is either "warning" or a "welcome"
(or in case of a trap, both).

I'm not sure what makes a background playable but I adjusted the size to a standard AGS size. This one was made a while ago not with this competition in mind. Thought I would give it a try anyway because it just suits the theme so well.

I don't think however it's a valid entry to the competition, since it was already made before the competition, as you said it your self.
I'm however not the host of the competition, so am sure WRK will give you a valid answer on this point.

Of course the idea of the BB is, that it's a creative blitz. On the other hand, I personally have no problem including OUXX and Ykni's pieces. They fit the theme. Then again, as you said, it's up to WRK.
