I might have found a bug...

I entered the ladybug maze puzzle. When I exit/solved the maze, I lost my leaf icon (switched to the standard hand/foot/eye) and the puzzle did not finish. I couldn't leave the maze puzzle at all anymore.

Doesn't really matter though, apart from support for 1280x1024 Visionaire isn't more powerful or easier to handle than AGS, on the contrary.
They added scripting to the newest version of the engine (Lua), so it's pretty much on par with AGS, but it used to be a pain to implement e.g. a LucasArts-9verb-GUI with Visionaire.

It's also geared more towards the "highres community", if you will.

In the end, creating a professional game like the Whispered World with AGS is perfectly possible; all it takes is time and professional assets.
