What's with all these topics asking for help?

... Isn't that what the Classifieds topic is for? So far we have: (1) Plot help, (2) Also some plot help, (3) I need an artist to help me, (4) Good artist needed, (5) creators wanted!, (6) 2D Artist needed for project. SIX topics that really didn't need to be started. A lot of bandwidth could've been saved.

Now it's ruined. RUINED! You killed it! Nooo!!

It's an AGS forums trait, Synth.

TerranRich, you're right - some times its annoying but sometimes I let them go. I don't mind people asking for help if they make a good post, i.e. one that features a story outline, any present screenshots, music, concept art etc.

Otherwise yes, requests should be in the Classified thread.

Perhaps I'll clamp down on it a little

I have nothing against people asking for plot/puzzle help. More times than not, "plot/puzzle help" threads turn out to be quite interesting to read.

However, don't ask us to design your entire game.

I don't know, I guess we have to deal with it. But I still can't understand why they can't just ask for help in the ACR thread.

It's Pumaman's responsibility! He should really made that "Make my game" button work! That way we don't have so much bandwidth wasted here!



Heh enough fun, actually apart from that merge topic function I think that split topic function was also overlooked, for example IMO that "gay adventure" thread would not become what it is today if it's split into different threads earlier (yeah I know it's a bit offtopic here, so I shut up now )
