Seattle suggestions?

Hello. I need ALL you help. (google fans GO for it)

I got a comission from a small orchestra in Seattle, and I got money from my uni, so I'm flying to Seattle for 3 days (31/10 - 03/11). I'll get to see the premier and I've already arranged to meet 1 person.

But I'd like more. I mean if I am to lose so many days (remember I'm flying through London, which means a few extra days here and back), I'd hope to do something spectacular.

So, apart from touristic stuff (which are also welcome), what else should I know about Seattle? I know about the weather, etc.

So:

* places to stay
* places to see
* orchestra resident in Seattle? Performers living in Seattle area? Groups, ensembles? Agents even who would be pleased to meet me?
* Things to make sure I do or see.
* anything else I should know about.

There's a Jimi Hendrix museum in the base of the Space Needle that I've always wanted to visit.

Cool places in Seattle:
EMP (Experience Music Project) - A rather large building that looks like a huge piece of awesomely twisted metal. I'd suggest looking them up and seeing if there's anything performing there.
Seattle Rep - Awesome place for relatively inexpensive theatrical performances.
Space Needle - Duh.

Be sure to:
Grab a Burger from Dick's - It's cheap, and I swear they have the best burgers I've ever eaten.
Dance at Century Ballroom - On Sunday Nights at 9 you can swing dance at century ball room for just $5. It's an awesome social experience, and the first hour is devoted to teaching people who don't know the basic steps. Fun with or without a partner.

- Take a ferry across Puget sound to see Seattle´s magnificent skyline.
- Go to Pike Place Market to see flying fish.
- Take a car and drive all the way to Kirkland. Just walk along the lake. There is a couple of nice restaurants around Lake St./Lake Wahington Blvd.
- Ride the monorail.
- Go to Chittenden Locks and see the Fish Ladder that allows salmon to pass between salt water of the ocean and fresh water of lakes.
- Go to Beacon Hill viewpoint or Kerry Park to see the city panorama. Preferrably in the evening.
- Grab a coffe at Starbucks:)
