some thoughts I had about the AGS awards

I've been pondering this for a while, and I think we should have more categories for AGS awards. For example: say there is a game with excellent backgrounds, but average sprites. Then there's another game with awesome sprites and mediocre backgrounds. One of them could possibly win the "best Art" award. But we should have two separate art awards: best sprites, and best backgrounds. We should also have an award for best voice acting. I mean, people hire actors and do all that hard voice work etc. but they don't have a chance of getting anything for it. Last, I'm not sure if we are doing this already, but we should have a best animation award. *Don't murder me if we already do, I haven't followed the award things in the past, so I don't know what all the awards are.*
I'm composing the music for this game:

We have Best Character Art and Best Room Art and Best Animation.Ã,  The reason there isn't a voice acting award is because there aren't enough AGS games released with voice acting each year.

Perhaps you should have looked at what categories there are before starting a thread asking for more? :P

Yeah. Not everyone has a microphone. Also, not all voices work in an adventure game. Take mine for example; I sound fine normally, but listening to a recorded voice makes me sound like a 5 year old.

I hate to break it to you, TheCheese33, but your voice always sounds like that. The sound you hear of your own voice in your head isn't the way it sounds to everybody else. To everybody else you sounds like a 5 year old :(

Yes. Sad but true. Make your peace with it.

Took me a few weeks of therapy as well.
