Boxing Monkey

some rough ideas on a main character, Boxing monkey. Boxing monkey is a professional boxer with a big punch, and an even bigger mouth.

the sprites are rough, and the left one is missing a few things, but what do you think of it so far?

Nice, very original.
As you said, they're very rough. More prominent eyes and some shading and you'll have an awesome character.

Hah, very awesome indeed. Despite the largeness of this character, his feet seem more cat-like then monkey-like. The game does seem very comical, so I would also make his gloves bigger. Nothing more funny then a monkey lugging around huge boxing gloves.

Monkeys tend to have large forearms, like Popeye, and that will make him look tougher too.Ã,Â Good work!Ã,Â I made a quick edit because I liked what I saw, just to give you an idea of what I mean by popeye arms

I think the original lips were perfect.

And I'm an expert on monkey lips, obviously.

In fact, I'd say the first go is still the best. Funny, that.

If you put the head of the THIRD monkey from Evil's post on the body of the SECOND monkey from the first post, that would be the best combination, I think.
