What no H&T thread yet? Is it just me or is everyone else breezing through this game ???
I've got a long way through the game without getting stuck and so far the puzzles have been just hard enough to be challenging but not so hard that I've been completely stumped, so well done on that, Ben and Dan. But I'll leave the review for after I've finished the game... on with my stuckness.

I think that all my woes stem from not being able to open that bottle of alcohol - there are at least two puzzles that, as far as I can see, will be solved once I've got it open.
Now I have seen something that looks an awful lot like a corkscrew but need to find some way of detaching it from its owner... perhaps something from the construction site will help here?
So could anyone hint on the following, please?

But what? I've examined the door, I see a porthole and beyond that something blocking the door. I try using the porthole but that doesnt work, I try using the door it says its buckled. Just in case I even tried "use buckle". I've no idea what to do.

You can't open the door from the inside.Press escape and continue with the game until you have opened it from the outside

I don't know if it's necessary, but have you tried to capitalize the professors name?

iam so far i must play the text game . Can you give all words i must type in.
The WT from jayisgames are hints and not a WT . There are to many quistions that not give in that WT and special when you not so good in English :)

I have read all the pages here and from the official forums and I still couldn't find out

which new item to use in order to pass the dino-guard. I couldn't find the skateboard that Dan used for relieving Ben, assumed it was what I needed.

It seems that you first need to solve an issue in time....
Assuming that you are at the professors house and have been to prison first, that is.

The magnet can be found on the fridge in prison. Use the reel in your inventory to take the magnetic tape from it and use it to reach the magnet.
The skateboard can be found in the basement after all clocks in the house have been set to the same time.

No, I had read Ultimate Game Solutions (http://gamesolutions.efzeven.nl/time-gentlemen-please-walkthrough-zombie-cow-studios2009/), too and I was stuck at the
Time Rips â€" Space ship part of the walkthrough. I hadn't got the magnet before and was unable to go to dungeon again.

But it is very my bad that I missed the "The go through and see the dino-guard marching outside. When he’s not looking, use the flask with oil on the floor and he’ll slip." sentence, it was what I needed.
