New creativeefforts.com offering webspace for amateur artists...need web design!

I recently considered the idea of having a webpage dedicated to creation... whether it be a game, a story, a design, or even just a thought... and I decided to make it a reality. It's called creativeefforts.com and it will offer a total of 1 GIG to all amateur artists... the good, the bad, and the ugly. Now, in order to make this happen: I just need someone's help to make a high quality webpage, because, as much as I'd like to do this myself, I have realized that I will not have time to do this anytime soon. I am already preoccupied with school, work, Utopia Prime, and, the assistance of a new game (Holiday.) I just need somebody's help in the beginning... they will get all the praise in the world when this site is up.

Ok. I can't help you, but some suggestion:

How will the good feel being in the same space as the bad and the ugly.

Why would I, being a composer, give you my music, if I know that the next five composers are crap (and the other way around of course...)

I've thought of this a lot of times, and unfortunately, at least at a professional level, it doesn't work (I think so anyway...)

So to answer your question: everything will be ranked 1-10 by the players. That is what makes the distinguishes the good from the bad... or the ugly.

I don't think you understand completely. I should've elaborated, but, well, I guess I'll go ahead and do that right now.

The primary goal of creativeefforts.com is to get ppl's work "out there," so to speak. Yes, the AGS community is a great place to show the works of many talented AGS developers, but there are much more things in this world than just AGS.

Once people have released their work on creativeefforts.com, others can come to see it and judge for themselves. In addition, a rank of 1-10 will be given to every creative "effort" released.Ã,  Obviously, the good will be a 6 or higher, the bad will be 5 or lower, and the ugly would probably be a 2 or lower. But, really, how you rank based on this system is completely up to you. Some people may seek the "ugly," for the sole purpose of determining what games should NOT include.

What you have to realize is that, ugly or not, an effort made is still an effort made. Everyone should be given an equal chance to see his/her efforts. And that is exactly the reason why I have decided to make creativeefforts.com.
