Ok, I'll be going to New York City this Saturday for the whole day. I know where Mittens is being held, its like 6 hours away, but hey, its the same state, so I'll be wearing my mittens and drinking my starbucks out of a blue mug in preperation for this summer.  it had better be warm.  

I'll be going on the NBC studio tour and on a movie studio tour. I'm excited, I'll be touristy and taking pictures, and if I see any AGS'ers I'll Mitteneer with them.
Just wondering if anyone else was in the area.

only person that's close enough to you would be Dave Gilbert... but he's been sent off to China on a top secret clothing mission.

i could tell you where he lives and you can break into his house and touch his stuff tho

A mini-mittens isn't such a bad concept though.. Too bad there aren't many places with a high density of AGS'rs to have localized mittens for those who can't make the worldwide AGS gatherings. I found someone who joined that lives in/near Stillwater, OK though. I can't figure out who it is because the map is messy in the middle.

there was a meeting of Dave Gilbert and I, then Dave Gilbert invited Jess and I to his birthday party.

You could probably set up another camp or something couldn't you? That way other Europeans could hit it up too.. I'm assuming it's way cheaper to go to England than the States. Or perhaps you guys could crash at Vel's place, since Bulgaria probably isn't bad on the pocketbook, and I hear it has a rather extensive history.
