I know there's a decent percentage of folks here not stateside, but I came across this on IGN earlier and think that it's pretty cool that the Smithsonian is putting together an exhibit on video games.  They have a selection of games from the Atari generation to the current generation.  The only "classic" adventure games to make candidacy is Zac McKracken, and Grim Fandango (there probably would have been more if they included PC in their "bit war" era ('89-'94) instead of just the SNES and the Sega Genesis, but I digress).  Regardless, there's still a lot of great games to choose from and is worth a look see.

It was either the Smithsonian or the Maryland Science Center that had this same exhibit when I was young.  --would have been... 95 or 96, I'd imagine.  I vividly remember playing the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom cabinet.

Ahhh... takes me back.

Sheesh! I don't know 95 or 96 is quite old, unless you are a Hobbit. How old are you now? :D

I'm 22.

I may in fact be wrong on all counts.  It seems Videotopia was the exhibit I remember.  And it was in the Maryland Science Center in 1999.

Hi Baptiste.

I was only fooling with you. :)
It made me laugh when you said 'When I was young. --would have been... 95 or 96, I'd imagine.'

I just had a silly moment and felt like having a laugh.
I did understand what you were saying... You vissited the exhibits in the Year 1995 or 1996.

Jay.

There was no misunderstanding.
