Dare I ask what is that whole legato business?

Haha, I didn't know people were watching the site so intently. This was a misconfiguration with the server. Our emails were getting listed as spam, so I did some fixing up of the DNS entries on the server. It just so happened that Game Jolt got messed up and started redirecting to Legato, which is an Open Source framework that I work on. It used to be the Lucent Web Framework, but is in the middle of rebranding to Legato. It's what Game Jolt is built on top of. One of the reasons the site is so fast, I daresay.  ;)

And, yes, my name is David DeCarmine. I'm the lead developer of Game Jolt.

I'm really sorry for the downtime, guys. This was completely accidental and was fixed as soon as I noticed it this morning. Let me know if things are still messed up for anyone.

By the way, as a little note: You can now set a maturity rating for your game, and it will use the TIGRS rating system. By the end of the week there should be functionality there for you to then embed an automatically generated image of your TIGRS rating to your site.

Also, by the end of the week we plan on having video uploading for games. We currently allow you to link to YouTube and Vimeo videos, but we will actually be rolling out our own video hosting solution, in full 640x480 glory! The quality of the uploaded videos is actually pretty amazing. Users will also be able to upload videos for your game in a user-media section. This way they can upload play-throughs, speed runs, walkthroughs, reviews, etc...

Glad to hear it's still going strong, CROS. I'll sign up soon.
