Where g&g stands for guy & guitar, though of course I used multiple tracks.

I know it's simple, but I quite like it :)

Thought I'd share. Recorded with the built-in microphone in my MacBook and Audacity :)

Great song Voh.  Reminiscent of some of the old Alice in Chains and maybe even a bit of Nirvana, especially at the end.  Quite a dark song lyrically.  Sound quality was a bit rough, but I thought that somehow gave it an edge.

Thanks for sharing that, Voh. :)

If I'm not mistaken this is my 500th post.  Go me!!1
I know I've been quite active on the board recently with little to show game-wise (hanging around talking bollocks mainly), but that's soon all about to change.  I've had an amazing idea for a new project and will be on the case veeeerry soon.

Hey Voh!

Very nice indeed! And quite cacthy. The sound of the guitar is great actually, I like that extremely raw guitar sound... (I am missing the rest of the "band" though after the first chorus).

Your voice sounds very nice, and steady and I don't know if you EQed it, but if you did it doesn't show, if you've not, just don't. :)

Second voice, sounds nice, but still stays along with the 1st, while it could be different notes here and there, to create variation.

rhythmic wise it's perfect.

Your build in microphone is creating a bit of noise, which is audible all along the whole song, so I would suggest finding a bit of denoiser, and remove it. If you go to www.kvraudio.com and search for a few plug-ins you'll come across a few to do that job. And they work greatly actually!

Lyrics are fine as well! (trick with 2nd voice and the whole outro is brilliant!)

Who is Timmy then? :D

Timmy's a sort of go-to name I use. He's been through some heavy stuff throughout my songwriting ;)

Did anyone catch the Loom/MI reference? :P

And normally I record through my Line6, but couldn't find the cable. Need a better microphone to plug into it anyway. This was a bit of a hackjob. And there was no EQ'ing, it's all pure built-in mic and recording. There's no filters, no plugins, no nuffn'.

Just raw rockage ;)
