just wondered what people think of the raven ware logo (what im going to release my stuff under) Crits welcome.

PS: Yes, the raven is supposed to look sketchy)

Very good except for the lens flare. Try converting the lens flare to black and white (in photoshop, after Effects>Lens Flare, go to Edit>Fade>Luminosity). It might fit better.

I especially like the raven. I would suggest that you get rid of the lens flare, and keep the background completely black. Don't have Raven Ware written two times like that, only one time. Instead of gray and white, write Raven Ware in red and possibly a different font (but I think it would come out well with the font you're using).

Ugh, ditch the lens flare! Everything looks great except for that. If you still want something there, I'd suggest a sketchy circle or something using the greyscale colours you already have.

ok i took out the lense flare, but personaly i think it looks better with it and will probably keep it.


but im definitely keeping the double text, sorry.

My initial thought on seeing the first one was "ARGH!!! TEH LENZ FLAY0R!!!1!!"  The version without the lens flare is fantastic. Actually having the moon up there instead of a the lensflare looks really cool- it sort of reminds me of Native American art.   I also like the idea of the double text, but IMHO it would look a bit better if the back version was like a shadow instead of going off in two different directions. The way you have it now it's very hard to read.  

Also, there is a circle between the word "raven" and the  raven itself.  I can't for the life of me figure out what it is.

It's really, really good without the lens flare, but I have to agree about the double text.
I don't think you really need the text at all, personally. I think if you center the graphic, it'll speak for itself.

I like it better without the lens flare too. You're a skilled enough artist that you shouldn't have to use pre-fab effects to make your art look good.

I think the whole thing needs to be moved a little to the right to be horizontally centered.. And down a little too, even with the text.

ah, didnt qoute sort out getting rid of the lense flare...

but the point of the lense flare is that it isnt like the native american style, and it makes it look more... well... outstanding, the point isnt that its an effect that only takes two clicks, the point is weather it makes it look better of not, wich i think it dose...

Maybe the text "Raven" should be colored the same as "Ware" to make it more readable. I like the last version, grayscale lens-flare, but also the painted moon. I dunno but it might look good to draw white sketchy lines over the lens-flare. Great logo!

the raven is darker cos i used lighting effects, i think i will use the white lense flare.
