Must be a Norwegian thing to cause I prefer No.3 to :P.
Of all the edits I prefer Darths 2 sided version!

Naah, I prefer the first one :D Had it been another pic of course! But the general layout of the first looks the best and most professional.
But I agree on Darths edit. That's awesome! :)

I like #1 too... I looked at it for quite some time, trying to figure out what the photo was of..
#4 makes me think of commercial music.
I might do business with #5 or #6, but only for synth music.
#2 and #3 are okay, bit dull.

Cheers Nik!  Glad you like it!

The reason I chose the note I did was because it represented music to me ... and I'm a VERY non-music person!  I figured on that symbol because if I thought of music when I saw it then so would other non-musical sorts like me.  I made a leap and assumed that the people you'd be giving these cards to would, like wise, be non-musical types (or they'd not need the card and would do their own music!).  So it made sense to use a "univeral" symbol of music!

I really like how LimpingFish incorporated the N shape of the note into your name!  I thought of doing that as well, but wasn't sure it would be clear enough as an "N" but it looks pretty cool!  I still feel it's too much though (too busy I mean) ... but that's just personal preference!  I like a completely sleek/sexy look like my two-sider!  Again ... that's just me :)

Keep us posted!

What is the image in the first card? I have no idea what is that. Looks like under the sea.

The second card is the only that I liked a bit really. But feels it miss something plus don't evocate the music in anything. So, is not representing you as a composer or someone that works with music.

The third card I find it not so profesional and not evocative.

The fourth obviously looks more like a card to invite someone to a concert!

The last two cards are too abstracts for to think is from a musician. It don't show music elements that people can understand.

Why don't you get a logo with your name? ;)

At LimpingFish: I Liked the implementation of the music note as the "N" of Nikolas. Still not so recognisable, at least for me, but is very nice! Also missed a comma between London & U.K. or is it ok like that in U.K.?

I think the cards should be simple to show the message clear, better and fast but still needing an element that will let the other person to think is a musician, composer or sound designer. Like the example the other people did here. :D

Oh, avoid much colours! Or use gradiant of black  & white or other colour added. Money, money, money! =P
