Please, don't double post, you can modify your first post by clicking the modify link in your post

also, why don't you render this out as a jpeg and then upload it, not everyone has flash and not everyone wants to download a .fla file just to give crit.

If you try copying a drawing you made in flash into a pixel based program(like paint), it's gonna look diffrent, because flash is vector based. i dont know wat else to do. sorry. unless u have any ideas

AGS uses bitmaps not vector based images so no matter what you do you're going to have to rasterize it.

What's the problem?

It is possible to export "gif"s from flash but the result is lame.

Anyway, I've made some mods in your file, most perspective corrections.
The lamp thing is really bizarre!  ;D
And, dude: work with layers!!! You will suffer much less.

Here is your "fla":

if exporting it makes it look different/worse, than that's the one we should be critiquing anyway.  I'm not downloading a file just to crit...it's bad enough when I have to click on a hyperlink because they didn't use a regular image link

Flash can export as .png -- use it.  That's how I'm doing all the art for my game.

Using layers save lives.

Oops! :-[ You're right.
The only image I had to export from flash was an animated gif and THAT was lame.

Every single object, by right, should be on its own layer.

Think of layers as sheets of clear plastic, with objects drawn on them. You can put one layer on top of another, switch them around, etc. You can also have layer effects, which means that one layer could be a solid color -- if you set its opacity (0% opacity = 100% transparent, 50% is halfway) down, you can basically tint the entire screen (or just a portion of it) a certain color if you wanted to. Layers are very powerful and very useful things to use. Plus, what if you wanted to edit an object that's behind another? You'd probably have to edit both. With layers, just select the layer that that object is on, and edit it that way.

Whatever you do on one layer will not affect the other layers. Any questions?

Your background is shaYour background is shaping up to look pretty ok, definantly better than my game stuff at that age.

Heh, I draw my graphics in flash too. But I just print screen them into paint then save them as BMP's then import them into AGS. With my backgrounds I just draw them how I would an uncoloured picture on paper. I only use layers occasionaly for objects I need to add in front of something already drawn, or if I want to draw something behind something already drawn. Afterwards I import the uncoloured background into Open Canvas and add some water colour and finishing touches. Then I might import it back into flash to add some final lighting effects and such. When that's all done I end up with something like this:

Sure my methods are un pro, silly and I wouldn't really recommend them to anyone. But maybe you can get some ideas for doing your graphics from all this  :P

Keep it up you can only get better!
