Where's M' Hat Ma ?

I am stuck at the beginning. I managed to solve the puzzle in the cave where the icycles are, but cannot get out from the right.

The plank and piece of wood are tied.
The other plank to cross the river is gone. The volture keeps taking the poorridge on the branch.Ã,  So now I have a stick, bowl of water and 2 berries and no more porridge.

How do I get out of there?

I have a problem with the maze, I have done it three times and everytime I get the 8 pieces of paper and I get a message while I am in the maze telling me I now have all the pieces. I make my way out and Margaret tells me I don't have all the pieces yet. I already had a piece in my inventory, the one I found on the bush, so in total I should have 9 pieces right? but when I come out of the maze game I only have 8 and like I said she keeps telling me I am missing pieces but I do get the message telling me I have them all.

you need to go all the way to the right in the cave, there is a plank of wood, use this to get back across water,  you need to use your bowl of water to soften the ground, then you can get the plank. Don't forget to get the flint as well. You can go back and get more porridge, use the porridge on the left side of branch ( the very end of branch) vulture should come eat the porridge and break the branch.

have you trapped the worm in the cardboard box? if you have then you should have got a burner/torch thing. You need to burn the bolts on the steel door. Wretched has explained how to do this to Jane. You have to get the bolts all white and the door will open. When you are able to get the door open thats where you will get body part

Strange,  I went to reload one of my saves in Hat game. And got this message///////    This game was saved with the interpreter running at a different resolution.  It cannot be restored.  What caused this?  I cannot get into that game on any of my saves to play it......

I too am stuck at the door with all the buttons and "alien numbers" or codes in the "secret passage".  I feel like I have tried everything on this door but cant quite seem to get it open.

If you read my previous post you will see the problem I am having with the maze game. I think I have figured out that I should not have a piece of paper in my inventory before doing the maze game so I went back to a saved game and did the snail with the leaves part, I get the 8 pieces in there, do the jigsaw puzzle and get the tower card but for some reason I still have a piece of paper in my inventory. I have done it a few times and still end up with that piece of paper in inventory. Is this whats maybe screwing me up at the maze game?

Put in the 1st four numbers from the crumpled sheet and press the MIDDLE button twice. Then, put in the (3) digit number,leaving the 4th one empty and press the middle button twice, you should be able to take it from here.....

I had the same problem where I had all 8 pieces so I kept returning to the maze and then exiting right away again.  I did this quite a few times and then finally M said that I had all the pieces and it went to the puzzle screen where you have to fit all the pieces together.  I'm not really sure what I did to trigger that screen other than entering and exiting the maze a few times.  I have the feeling that it's a bug.
