So I had this up for C&C in the critics lounge and figured that saving the galaxy makes this intrepid commander FAMOUS ENOUGH, so why not invite him to the party?

As Chicky points out, it's not Clint Eastwood (again) but in fact Han Solo from Star Wars, everyone's favourite smuggler, pilot of the Millenium Falcon, and who has a walking rug for a best friend. I see the resemblance with the famed gunslinger though...

So I added a in-game mockup for my entry...

Not very proud of my background, but that's what time constraints and inexperience produce. Idea would be that our intrepid hero just arrived at a despicable hive of scum and villany, and is looking to replace a spare part for 'the fastest ship in the galaxy'.

GUI controls shamelessly borrowed from you-know-where. Inventory items are:
1. Trusty blaster
2. Said spare part
3. Navigation tool doohicky

Sprite alone is still 16 or less colors. Wanted to try to make BG use same palette as well, but I nearly died... so that's my entry.
