I know ogg files can be put in the compiled dir and run by the playvideo command.
But can OGG files be included in the exe file?

GarageGothic

From the manual (PlayVideo section):

Quote... OGG Theora, which is a recently introduced video file format. AGS has built-in support for playing these videos, so everyone who plays your game will be able to see the video. OGG Theora videos are also built into the game EXE file when you compile the game (just make sure the file has a .OGV extension and is placed in your main game folder).

I know but OVG results in a black screen when using the playvideo command.
Only ogg will be shown correctly but these files can't be included as far as I know.
But I wanted to know if I missed some info about including ogg files...
Sorry...

It's OGV, not OVG - just in case that wasn't just a typo in your post. Otherwise it should work. I didn't even know you could get videos to play using the .OGG extension, thought that was audio only.

A typo in my post, my mistake...
Still don't get it why OGV results in a black screen and OGG plays fine....
Thanx.
