How can I delete characters? [SOLVED]

I want to delete a character from my game, but there's no Delete Character button. Anyone know how to do this?

Character can't be deleted , they can be over writen thats it .

well, although i am surprised that this isnt in the beginners FAQ, but still you need to use the forum search function for this question, which is asked at least once a month.
- Oh great, I'm stuck in colonial times, tentacles are taking over the world, and now the toilets backing up.
- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.
