Bubbles for char.speech [not for char.thinking]

I know there is a bubbles option for character thoughts but
is there bubbles option for character speech supported?
I ask this because after searching around I have noticed that
it might be/have been on the "wish list" if I'm not mistaken...
[Like here for example]

As far as I know it's not supported, but you can make a module youself for displaying text in a bubble. I've done this in the Nelly Cootalot II Tech Demo.

To make this work, I'm also using a custom dialogue module, so it doesn't mesh with AGS's standard dialogue system. The module scripts are probably a terrible mess, but I could send them to you if you wanted to have a look at how it works.

If it was addressed to me, then yes I would like many styles of bubbles!

My problem with the thought bubble is that it uses a text box GUI, which doesn't allow for much customisation. Without a little arrow pointing towards the speaker, a speech bubble just ain't a speech bubble. Also, I don't seem to be able to use sprites with alpha channels to create anti-aliased text in an anti-aliased bubble using a text box GUI.

This is why I started writing a custom module, but if I could have achieved the effect of speech bubbles more simply please let me know!

It would be fantastic in the next release to have 3 speech options: lucas/sierra/bubbles :)
