Supernatural: The Terror Trio (DEMO)

The games is as the subject title implys, about the TV show Supernatural, it's very -ahem- art house and -cough- abstract. The game is in 1st person and due to the fact it's based on still photographs there is no animation (excluding the mouse cursor animations). right now there's only one relatively simple puzzle, voice clips from the first season of the show and a few songs in the intro an outro of the show. there is also some -cough- brilliant acting from Aaron Ducker. plus there is a couple of rock songs in the intro and outro of the game.

the story pretty much so far goes; Sam and Dean Winchester are on a routine hunting trip but this hunting trip might easily turn to be one hell of an adventure, play the demo to find out what happens.

N.B. You are dean in the closing movie so that's why Dean isn't seen in the room in the end of the demo, because you are now looking through his eyes.

Well I tried this because I love the tv-show.

But I have to honest and say, that this was a big dissapointment.

I think that you have rushed too much to put this "game" to download. I mean for example that the extra graphics in the game are pretty hasty made. And there really isn't much to play...
You should made more to play before putting it for download.

But hey, don't get me wrong. I really like the idea (and the tv-show )and if you are going to make this as a real game, I would definetly be playing it.

BTW: It's ofcourse your decision, but I think this game would be better from 3rd person

well it's true that theres not much in the demo: the demo is 1/8th of the actual story (this demo was created in 3-4 weeks), the voice acting for the guy in the beginning was done by a 17 year old australian high school kid who does drama (me being a 17 year old it kinda makes sence).

The rest of the voice acting was taken of season one of the tv show. but there is heaps more plot line too it if i get around to it. just gotta deal with the whole girlfriend thing... damn it's annoying.

About the 3rd person thing, i'm not artist, i don't claim to be..... so it's 3d. another reason it's 3d is because i wanted tbased it on games such Frankenstein: through the eyes of the monster. but it's mostly based on a risque (somewhat softcore porn) game once played about buffy the vampire slayer which i think was made by a group called blade games. so it's based on that with out the porn

this is just the tip of the ice berg for the story! the game was really created to show the players what the game will be like.

it was also created to show how the interface would work but this game took three weeks to my 3-4 day creating my other demo (Rough Diamond).

so i'm gonna try and polish the dean picture a bit more. I think the interactivity is because there only one real puzzle and there was only a limited amount of rooms. i tryed to make each room as interactive as possible!

so yeah
