Well, ok I searched a bit and found nothing about it. So if you have a MAC how can you play AGS games? I don;t have a MAC it's just that a friend of mine is wondering and i'd really like a helpful answer about it.
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

... it's quite easy being the best.

:) Download A PC Emulator For MAC Like "Virtual PC".
If You Are Going To Download It, For Older MAC's With Mac OS 9 Or An Older Operating System, Download "Virtual PC 5".For More Modern MAC's With Mac OSX 10.3.9 Or Older OSX Versions, Download "Virtual PC 6".For The Latest MAC's With Mac OSX 10.4.1 Or Later Or The Newest MAC's With Mac OSX 10.5.0 Or Later, Download "Virtual PC 7",Or If Their Are Any Newer Versions Of "Virtual PC" Download That. :)

The Best Place To Download These Are At [LINK REMOVED, DO NOT POST WAREZ LINKS HERE]
Or Other Torrent Websites. :)

You Will Need A Torrent Downloader To Download These Such As "µtorrent". :)

The problem is, with emulators like VirtualPC or VirtualBox, you also need a copy of the system OS (I'm talking about M$ Window$ here) which is usually not freeware and we won't encourage people to "obtain" it unless via legal means.

Also, by posting that link you're probably causing troubles by breaking rules here (I think VirtualPC is probably free to download from M$'s own site though, so it's pointless to have that link here), better remove it.

Can't really see the problem of posting a mirror of something already freeware? :)

But yesh, I run Bootcamp on my mac which is a fancy name for dualbooting. As far as I know, it's freely available if one has Mac 10.4 or lower and it comes with "Leopard" if your friend has this. As for needing a copy of Windows, you'll need either XP with service pack 2 or vista. This can be downloaded "illegally" (remember that you'll need XP with sp2 or higher in this case) or you can just find any old windows disc lying around in your house! :) Dunno why, but I had three of them and I s'pose it's something people have after getting a computer.

It's not a mirror link of the supposedly freeware. It's a torrent site link, which is presumably a warez related link (and it actually is). :P

 ??? What Does "Warez" Mean?

Basically "illegally downloadable files". I know TPB very well, and I just assumed that AGS Gamerz had linked to the actual download without checking the link ;) That said, there are also a whole lot of legal material there, and plenty of people use torrents instead of other, slower, means of letting people dowload their files so I think it's pretty narrow-minded to shut of torrent sites completely.

But then again, I have no idea if you would remove the link if someone were to mirror their game on a torrent site and link it here. :)

EDIT: But let's not make this a file-sharing discussion. If your friend wants to play ags games on his mac, he needs dual boot or virtual pc with XP sp2 or Vista.

Gilbert

It's a link to the site, not the specific download, and it's made clear as CJ removed the link already.

But no, don't talk about this anymore.
