Does anyone have a copy/working link to the SCream engine used to create Scratches? I know it was released for free in 2006 or so, but the website for it seems to have been abandoned and I can't find any other links to the engine itself.

Well, I don't have a copy of SCream, but I know that Agustin Cordes - the creator of Scratches - recently developed a more advanced engine that does basically the same (don't remember what it is called). It's currently in beta stages as the game they've developed it for is still work in progress, but it's planned to be open-source and if you send them an email, I'm pretty sure they could allow you to try the newest version.

But if you're just "SCream or nothing at all", then I'm sorry I couldn't be of help.

I think it's called Kinesis, it's mentioned on his new company site as 'coming soon':

But there's no mention of Scream, which is a pity.

I hadn't heard about the Kinesis engine, but it looks very interesting. I'll be sure to look into that. Thanks for quick replies.
