I was curious about everyone's opinion about playing traditional point-n-click adventure games on consoles. There have been some ports in the past like Curse of Monkey Island, the Neverhood, etc. I think using a gamepad instead of mouse can be a bit more cumbersome, but still possible (and maybe it's not a big deal). Also with the advent of Android consoles like OUYA and Gamestick, the possibilty of an indie adventure game on these consoles exist. I'm not sure if the Android port of AGS will support either of those, but that would be cool if it did. Also the PS4 will have an indie portion of the store, again opening up the possibilities for indie adventure games on consoles.

What are your thoughts everyone?

I think it's very easy to play adventure games with gamepad. I finished Machinarium on PS3 few months ago and it played great. There are also other console adventures, Red Johnson Chronicles for example. Looking forward to PS4 indies.

Zach and Wiki comes to mind as well. It's too bad the Wii didn't get more high profile point-and-clicks. As far as consoles go, it was perfectly suited to them!
