Hi all,

Here's a theoretical problem for you guys.  I had this idea and I wondered if it was even possible.

Your character is walking a dog on a leash.  You can move your character around the screen and the dog follows you independantly, but remains connected to the leash.

Does that make sense?  Basically I want the leash to be attached to your character's hand and the dog's collar while both move independantly of each other.

Any light-shedding appreciated.

I remember when someone asked about drawing elastic lines, for creating a physics type game. Like stretching wires to connect a circuit. Maybe it can help you, or give you ideas.

Instead of messing with all that code, you could just make the man and dog one character.  Then, when drawing the walking animation, make the dog meander and sway, instead of directly folowing the owner.  You could even make the person give the dog a yank now and then, or make the dog try to get in front of the person.
