Hi everyone!
Something weird is happening to my AGS lately. I've been searching for a music I don't want to play at a particular room, but in another. So I searched and searched but never found a "Play Music on room load"-entry or a PlayMusic()-command.
Then I just tried to check "Play Music on room load" and enter a number. After I saved the room that setting WAS GONE!! ???
Is this something like a bug or did I do something wrong??
Thanks in advance.

Whoops. By the way: I'm using AGS 2.56 ;-)
What music number did you use? The "Play music on room load" only accepts music numbers from 0-120. To play a higher numbered music, you need to use PlayMusic.
I've noticed this- when the music number is the same as the room number then the number will dissapear from the on room load music number edit box, but the music will still play normally ingame.
Hi!
Jap! I've used music no 0. Just the way you said. So now I'll try using number 1 and then turn it off...
But, Chris, could you take a look at this, please?

Oh heh, yes sorry I meant 1-120. Music 0 will un-check the box when you save it.
Sorry about that, I should have realised.
Hi!
Why is that so? Is there any reason doing that or is it just a plain bug?
If music0.* exist in the game folder, it will be played in every room which has no 'play music on room load' defined, right? If so, it plays the music, no matter you check it and enter 0, or not check it at all...
Music 0 is automatically played at game startup.
The fact that you can't use it in that box in the editor is a "feature", dating back to AGS 2.00. Those five tick boxes on the main Game Settings pane were some of the first things to be added to AGS, and as such they haven't aged well.
