Unable to create a new game

I've downloaded the latest AGS, but when I go to start a new game and type the filename for it, it says an error occured and that I've either disabled " or / keys or I've already created a game with the same name. This isn't the case though, as I've tried creating new file names with random letters and numbers and still the same error comes up. Any help with this little problem would be appreciated.

Make sure that the place where you installed AGS has plenty of free disk space, and that it's not read-only. That error message you got means AGS couldn't create the directory.
