The AGS Panel is a team of AGS forum veterans who play all of the games here, and give them ratings from one to five cups. The rating system is as follows:
1 Cup Not serious entertainment
2 Cups A reasonable game, worth a try
3 Cups A good game, worth playing
4 Cups A great game, well worth your time
5 Cups An outstanding, must-play game!
Feel free to disagree with the panel's rating, and please don't be offended if you think your game has been underrated!

(Why has my game been rated 1 cup?)

Close window
If your game has been rated 1 cup, please don't be offended! It's common for your first game release to get a 1-cup rating, due to the game having a lack of polish and flair -- which is understandable, because you're just getting started!

Please understand that the main purpose of the ratings is to help potential game players find high quality, bug-free games to play. You've probably learnt a lot about AGS as a result of making your first game -- so why not use that knowledge to start afresh, and do even better with your next game!

About this game

You play as Nolan, a young man who is half human and half elve. He is send to find a magic stone, a dangerous magic object.

This game is half Point&Click Adventure and half RPG.

AGS Panel Review

"This otherwise enjoyable game is plagued by some interface problems such as clipped text and broken combat (it's almost impossible to hit with any weapon except magic). The final battle is also next to impossible (even according to the author) without finding a secret room that has no hints offered in game as to the location."

The game was okay, but it needs a lot more work. The point and click part of the game requires far too little effort to figure out the puzzles and the RPG fighting section leaves a lot to be desired.

There seems to be no strategy at all to the fighitng. You simply push one of two attack buttons and you may or may not hurt your opponent. Armor seems to change nothing nor does the kind of weapon that you use, so most of the fighting is simply chance.
